Tax Relief
Tax relief may be available to applicants 65 years of age or older provided their income is within the limits set by the State of Tennessee which is $20,000 for all property owners for the 2006 tax year. You can not receive more than $20,000 from all incomes through the year 2005and you must be 65 on or before December 31, 2006 to qualify. Tax relief is also available to disabled citizens, disabled veterans, and widows or widowers of disabled veterans. Applications are available at the Clerk’s Office. Business License
Business must be located inside the corporate limits of Lenoir City. There is a $20.00 fee to obtain a new license; each year a business renews the license is based on gross sales.
Court Hours
2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 2:00 p.m. We can reschedule court one time only. You must appear before the Judge in order to attend Defensive Driving Course. Environmental Court is the 1st Friday of every month at 9:00 a.m.
