Bicycle Patrol

The Lenoir City Police Department added a bicycle patrol unit in the spring of 2007.  The two officers are a visible unit in and around the City.  Officers Rick Eubanks and Jason Butler are providing bicycle patrol in their designated zones: Lee Russell Sports Complex, Lenoir City Park, Parks and Greenway Trails and the Lenoir City Swimming Pool.  Bicycle patrol in these areas should result in a safer family environment for outdoor activities.  The bicycle patrol allows the Police Department to patrol areas that were previously inaccessible other than on foot.
